Random Solitary Thoughts

Argh! Tuesday and I'm still sick! Well, glad I'm actually feeling better now. A friend called me up shortly after lunch, informing me of an accident he just had. Therefore, I rushed to the Shah Alam police station where his car was towwed, and saw the remains of his car. Thankfully, he escaped with minor scratches. The car however, wasn't so lucky! Talk about trying to convert a Wira into a Kancil.

The accident occured as he was trying to regain control of his car after he went into a puddle of water on a highway heading towards Cyberjaya. He hit the side of the divider and lost control of the vehicle, which spun around and slided across the road into the middle lane. Needless to say, an incoming lorry crashed into him.

So the lesson in all this is, do not drive to close to the divider on a rainy day! If you want to, make sure there are no vehicles behind you for miles! It is not the fault of the driver, or the higway, or the lorry driver, or some greater force that controls nature, or nature itself. It is just one of the things that happen, that we just take for granted until it's happened to us.

There, I've said it all. Now you may ask 5 people to read this blog within an hour and 5 people will be more aware of the dangers of driving in the rain, and you will be blessed with no accidents for a year. (No, really... doh!) If you ask 10 people to read this blog, 10 people will be more aware of the dangers of driving in the rain, and you will be able to buy that car of your dreams, and still face no accidents for a year! Ask 20 people to read this blog, and 20 people will be more aware of the dangers of driving in the rain, you will get your car and accident-free promo for a year, and people will start deleting every mail from you. Ask more than 20, and you're a really sad case.

This is NOT a chain blog, this bit is actually for fun, and I hope no one actually tells others about this post for the sake of getting a new car. But for safety's sake, do tell your friends to be careful on the road! ;)
